Dear editor,
I'm an Australian travelling through Europe with my English boyfriend in an Astra Bedford Van. Came to the Czech Republic to hang out for a while, as I heard Prague is so cheap, before we hit Germany Oktoberfest. Cost me 32 pounds UK for entry visa; for 10 days. Get to Prague, park near Muzeum.
Go to some cool pubs, back to car and it has been broken into and our backpacks, guitars: stolen! Only been overseas for four months, now I've lost everything. We have only the clothes on our backs, no underwear, all personal stuff gone, but more important than anything, took three rolls of undeveloped film of memories through Europe. Never to be seen or replaced. Thousands of pounds worth of gear, contraceptive pills, meaning we have to use sh*tty rhythm method to make love. Warning to all travellers "Prague: City of Theft!''
Will never recommend Czech as a place to visit. Been all through Europe and have this happen here. Feel extremely empty... Thanks for nothing thieves of Prague.
-Yours poorly, Nicole Wood, Sydney, Australia
